Hybrid Climbing Arborist & Sales/Consulting
Full-time climbing arborist position with intention to incorporate 2+ days/wk sales and consulting based on demonstrated aptitude and motivation.
Perform high-quality tree care using modern, science-based practices in pruning, cabling/bracing, plant healthcare and occasional removals. Apply and expand knowledge in tree diagnostics and management strategies. Learn and apply professional selling skills and tree consulting practices. Contribute to the advancement of arboriculture through industry events and tree climbing competitions.
Requirements
5+ years experience in professional arboriculture
Motivated to learn, grow and succeed in a high-performing team environment
Enjoys meeting people and sharing knowledge in verbal/written communication
Current ISA Certified Arborist and Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ)
Proficient in safe work practices for ground ops, chainsaw ops, climbing, rigging, chipper ops
At least 3 years professional tree climbing with proficiency in MRS (moving rope) and SRS (stationary rope) climbing systems
Plant healthcare experience a plus
Confident driving trucks with towed chippers/trailers, preferably in a city environment
Comfortable using Microsoft Office® and other common computer programs
Starting wage $34-40/hour plus opportunity for bonuses
